This week, we chatted with the talented and accomplished Cristi Christensen. Cristi has studied extensively for over 10 years with world-renowned teachers including Saul David Raye, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Elisabeth Halfpapp, and Fred DeVito. She spreads this energy across the globe, leading workshops, retreats, and has graced the covers of Yoga Journal, Om Yoga, and LA Yoga. Read on to find out what Cristi has in store for SOULSCAPE! Share with us what you have planned for your session at SOULSCAPE?
I am teaching a class i call SoulFire Flow. It is about igniting the flame in your own heart and connecting to the deeper calling of your soul. It is a strong yet playful practice that will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, and energized. Come prepared to sweat as you enjoy the perfect blend of meditation, vinyasa yoga and dance!
What other types of classes/workshops do you teach?
I teach a lot on the chakras, the goddesses, core empowerment, strength and activation, and my signature yoga/dance fusion!
Is there anything special that our participants can expect at your session at SOULSCAPE?
To have a lot of fun! i am known to use many different techniques to facilitate the movement of energy and to get people of out the heads and more connected with their bodies. Just come with an open mind and heart and i promise you will be smiling by the end!
What is it that you love most about what you’re teaching?
I love seeing people get more and more connected with themselves, waking up to the magnificence of who they are, seeing them become stronger, more confident, more empowered and to live the life of their dreams. I see this transformation on the mat daily through the power of breath, meditation, intention and movement.
Name 1 thing that you are looking forward to most at the festival?
Having the opportunity to connecting with and meeting all the yogis and yoginis in Singapore and supporting the vision and success of Singapore’s first yoga festival!
